Sorena
سورناA question is the only thing that has never needed permission to travel.
The oldest technologyis a question.
Everything anyone knows was carried here by someone who wanted to find out. Curiosity is not a privilege of comfortable places. It is the ordinary condition of being awake — and it has never respected a line drawn on a map.
Knowledge has alwaystravelled badly, andarrived anyway.
Copied by hand. Passed between languages by people who disagreed with it. Argued over in cities that no longer exist. Nothing that survived did so by staying in one place — it survived because somebody carried it further.
Some doors are closedfrom the outside.
Not every page opens for every reader. Somewhere a door does not give, and no reason is offered — only a silence that is easy to mistake for emptiness, as though there had never been anything on the other side.
A closed door teaches nothing. It only makes the world smaller for whoever is standing in front of it.
So the answer isan ordinary one.Leave it open.
No manifesto, no flag. Only the conviction that a person should be able to read, ask, watch and speak to anyone — and that when this becomes difficult for someone, it is worth quietly making it easier.
